JOLO Duo
The JOLO Duo after their performance at the American Trombone Workshop — Fort Myer, Washington D.C. (March 8 2019)
The JOLO (Joe, Lou) Duo was formed in 2017 when composer Mack LaMont was commissioned by Louis to write a solo for trombone and harp. The goal of this duo is to promote original solos for trombone and harp, and to continue expanding the repertoire with exciting new works for this genre through recordings and performance. Their CD “The Bounds of Spring” (2020) featured previously unrecorded solo works for trombone and harp and new works that were commissioned for JOLO Duo. JOLO Duo has performed at the American Trombone Workshop (2019) and International Trombone Festival (2019)
